Age

Applicants must be over 18 years of age (exceptions only by written agreement of legal guardian).

Payment

Course fees will be those stipulated in the most recent price list at the time of registration. All materials and course fees are due on the first day of class before taking your first lesson. Only after the full amount of the course fees has been paid may a student participate in classes. Bank charges are to be paid by the student. Students who fail to pay the registration fee on time may lose their place in the class. All fees are to be paid in Japanese yen.

Cancellation

If a student cancels his registration up to 4 weeks prior to the start of class, all fees paid excluding the registration fee will be reimbursed. If ASAHI NIHONGO cancels a course, the full amount that has already been paid will be reimbursed. Further claims cannot be made.

Changes of course registration

There will be no extra charge for reservation changes up to 14 days before the start of the course. However, any changes after that time will necessitate a 5000 yen extra charge.

Damage

Students are obligated to observe the rules of the house or establishment at which they are accommodated. Students will be held responsible for any damage they cause. Any damage (e.g., by careless or improper use of electrical appliances) must be compensated for. If ASAHI NIHONGO has to pay for damages caused by a student, the school will lay claim to the student for reimbursement.

Failure of performance

ASAHI NIHONGO is not liable for failure of performance due to influence beyond our control or any other reasons. If a student has to stop or interrupt his stay, he is not entitled to make up any classes he may miss.

Insurance

Course fees do not include insurance.

Liability

ASAHI NIHONGO is not liable for larceny or accidents occurring during the student's stay in Japan.

Jurisdiction

Fukuoka City is the place of jurisdiction. Students must follow the laws which govern the city.
